Annapolis Store Manager

Reports To:
The Annapolis Store Manager will report to the Annapolis Store Lead Bill Frazier.

Job Overview:
The Annapolis Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Annapolis Store Leader and the overall business in Annapolis. The Manager is responsible for some of the daily operations, inventory, scheduling, and marketing initiatives.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Customer Service 
    • First priority…no question
    • Make sure all customer matters are attended to first by all staff 
    • All Part time Responsibilities 
  • Staff Supervision
    • In coordination with the store lead, supervise daily tasks for part time staff, i.e. – daily check list, checking in packages, back stock, staff management, daily cleaning tasks  
    • Hold weekly product clinics with part time staff 
  •  Store Supervision
    • Special order placement and follow through.
    • Inventory Reports-Fulfilling from other stores and balancing as needed.
    • Managing floor- To include general merchandising, apparel mark downs as needed and balancing of all merchandise. 
    • Make sure store general maintenance is maintained
    • In the absence of a store lead overall responsibility of all aspects of the store.  
  • Support the store lead by helping with the following 
    • Store event planning and administration
    • Hiring/Training
    • Staff Scheduling 
    • Daily supervision of part time staff
    • Store Marketing 
    • Dr & Physical Therapy relationships
    • Attend health and gym fairs as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a team.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends. Retail hours.
  • A passion for the running and walking community. 
  • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our events or other departments’ operations and/or morale.
  • A mindset of getting the job done and working outside of the job description when necessary. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
