GBMC Father's Day 5K and 1-mile Fun Walk

Join us on June 16 for the 25th Annual GBMC Father's Day 5K and 1-mile Fun Walk. Your support will touch more than 500 critically ill and
premature babies cared for this year in the GBMC Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit (NICU). These fragile babies are cared for by hospital staff
specializing in newborn care and require equipment designed just for
them. Remember, your support is a big deal to our smallest patients.
Online registration is now closed, participants can still register in person at any one of the below packet pick up sessions.
Course: No bikes, skates, pets or skateboards permitted.
Amenities: mile splits; two water stops; police and medical staff available; performance shirts. Both adult and youth sizes will be available, so please indicate on the entry whether a shirt needs to be a youth size.
Awards: awards for top three runners, male and female overall as well as performance awards to the top male and female in each of the following age groups: 13 and under, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Top three males and females overall will receive gift certificates ($100, $75, and $50 corresponding) to Charm City Run.
Special awards will be given to the top three father/son teams, the top three father/daughter teams, the first male and first female GBMC employee, and the first male and first female GBMC NICU employee.
Results will be posted online same day as the race at CharmCityRun.com
Beneficiary: Proceeds from this event will provide significant growth and enhancements to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) so it can continue to provide the top care for the tiniest patients at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC).
Race Pledges: We hope you will help raise additional funds for our NICU patients by seeking pledge money from family, friends and colleagues.
Snooze Runner: Not an early bird? You may want to register for our snooze runner category. Pay the regular registration fee, pick up your T-shirt at one of the designated packet pick-up locations, and stay in bed on race day to catch up on those zzz's!
