Virtual Reality Registration: For those in-your-dreams runners/walkers, you don’t even have to show up on race day. Stick to your weekend schedule, sleep in -- or not -- and still support Believe In Tomorrow’s Annual Port to Fort 6K Run/Walk. For your $30 tax-deductible registration fee, we will send you a commemorative T-shirt and lots of goodwill for contributing to Believe In Tomorrow National Children's Foundation. First come, first serve as shirt quantities are limited.

Team Registration: All team members must register individually. Please make sure each person uses the exact same team name and team leader. Once each team member registers, you can create and personalize a team fundraising page for all members' fundraising efforts. Remember, at least four people are required to form a team.

Course: Start and finish line at Baltimore Museum of Industry, 1415 Key Highway (Inner Harbor South).

To ensure runner safety, no bikes, rollerblades, "wheelies," pets, scooters or skateboards are permitted on the race course.

  • Strollers and kiddie wagons are permitted, however we as you to please start at the back to keep everyone safe during the race stare
  • Audio listening devices are permitted.
  • Port to Fort is a rain-or-shine event.

Individual Race Awards: Cash gift card awards will be presented to the top 3 male/female overall finishers. We will also present awards to the top male/female masters overall and the top 3 male/female finishers in the following age categories: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. All award winners will be recognized at our Post-Race Party, featuring food, lively music, and other fun activities to celebrate the event!

Team Awards: As a thank you for creating a team, each team member will receive a special team incentive on race day. In addition, there are three categories for team challenges:

Armed Services Challenge: Award for highest turnout from a military institution. Friends and family can be included on your team. Set your sights to beat out last year’s champion, Team Navy, who had a whopping 105-person team.

Corporate Team Challenges: Awards for most funds raised and largest corporate team. Friends and family are welcome to join you and your colleagues. Last year’s winners included the Lane Company Team, raising more than $700, and Team Chick-fil-A with 58 members.

Community Team Challenges: Awards for most funds raised and largest community team. Community teams can be comprised of groups of friends, family members, churches, clubs, schools, sports teams/clubs, Believe In Tomorrow families, etc.

It takes an army of 100-plus volunteers to help manage Port to Fort each year. Are you interested in joining the team? Grab some friends or come solo and help put on another fantastic 6K race. If interested, send an email to Kate Sachs, or call us at 410-744-1032.

Beneficiary: Believe In Tomorrow National Children’s Foundation

Widely-recognized as a world leader in pediatric hospital and respite housing, Believe In Tomorrow developed the first pediatric respite facilities in the United States more than 25 years ago. Two of the foundation’s respite properties -- Believe In Tomorrow House on the Bay in Ocean City, Md. and Believe In Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls in the scenic mountains of Asheville, N.C. -- prioritize military families with critically-ill children.

Believe In Tomorrow National Children’s Foundation is the exclusive provider of hospital housing for the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
